Los Angeles Maker Faire 2024

Our tables were back at the City of Stem / Los Angeles Maker Faire on Saturday, April 6.  Though we didn't have a prime location like last year (we were more buried among the robotics' booths), once the attendees found out where we were, we had a constant stream of visitors who played on the Commodore and Amiga computers.  And a lot of them, especially those music synthesizer crowd, liked Jerold's exhibit connecting a MIDI keyboard to the C64 and to the Nintendo game system. Hard to see the screens in the pics due to the outside light (and our monitors were at 100% brightness!) Check out the non-computer picture, too!

Randy Abel's Party

On Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, the members of The Other Group of Amigoids held a farewell party for Randy Abel, leader of the The Other Group of Amigoids (Los Gatos/San Jose, CA) who had been leading the club since 1995.

Wishing Randy well as he moves to Texas.  Here are some photos of the event!

Vintage Computer Festivalers at Bay Area Maker Faire 2023

Whoa, I am tardy in posting these pics from the Oct. 20-22 weekend of the Bay Area Maker Faire in Vallejo, California, USA.  I brought the Commodore and Amiga computers, and friends brought their classic machines.  Plus there are some miscellaneous pics from other exhibits.

Truly,

Robert Bernardo
