My Visit to the Adelaide Retro-Computing Group

Gaelyne Gasson, long-time C= aficionado!
The giant Unley Town Hall meeting place
My meager set-up of C64 DTV and A.L.I.C.E. laptop
Some Apple II disk drives for sale or trade
The meeting is beginning.
Michael's set-up of Raspberry PI emulator and more

It was a promising start of my visit to Adelaide, South Australia.  I traveled by bus from Adelaide to Old Reynella and met long-time friend and Commodore veteran, Gaelyne Gasson.

The next evening, Thursday, March 12, I walked to the Adelaide Retro-Computing Group meeting, expecting to find lots of Commodore and Amiga computers as I had seen back in 2016 when I last visited the group.  To my surprise, there were none!  I was the only one there who brought any Commodore and Amiga content!  The oldest computer at the meeting was a Windows 98 (or was it Windows ME?) box; the others being modern Windows 10 computers playing networked shooters!  At least there was a Raspberry Pi set-up with emulators.  I was told that at the previous meeting there had been Commodore 8-bit computers.

Very disappointed,
