The CommVEx room for 2016

The entry to Ballroom 9
The spacious Ballroom 9
For the July 30-31 Commodore Vegas Expo v12, we have a larger room for our activities.  It is Ballroom 9, the entrance being in the center of the third floor, a bit farther from the third floor garage in comparison to the other rooms we have used in the past.  You enter the doorway to Ballroom 9 and go through a foyer before coming to the ballroom.

The round tables will be replaced by 8-foot rectangular tables,

With all the video-recording I'm doing, there isn't much of a chance to photograph during the show.  So, here are some more photos before the Saturday start of the show and a little bit during the banquet.

Too many hours behind the videocamera,

And more!

We head to the Sports Page Bar across the street.

Whew!  We tried to get everything ready from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., but we only got about halfway done for the show on Saturday and Sunday.  Yes, we had to be out of the Computer History Museum by 9 tonight, or they would charge us much more money.  We'll try to finish the set-up's tomorrow morning before the doors open!

Missing the Carlsen/Wright + Brewster talks

Though I took few photos during the show, I did take photos before the event.  I humbly present what I have, because other attendees took far more than I.

Production model of the C128 VGA adapter

Engineer John Carlsen is now producing his C128 VGA adapter, albeit in limited quantities.  The production model, seen above, will be sold at the July 18-19 Commodore Vegas Expo v11 2015.  His webpage is

His adapter is said to be the most accurate in color rendition, because he measured the signals being received in a Commodore 1084 monitor.
