On January 20, 2013, we gathered at our meeting of the Fresno Commodore User Group.  This was no ordinary meeting.  It was day of the Global SX-64 Party, an international celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Commodore SX-64, the world's first color transportable computer.  We started the meeting by Skype-communicating with Berry de Jager, organizer of the day, who was in the Netherlands.  Then after lunch, it was time to play with the SX-64s!

At the January meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network, Matt B. showed off v 0.9 of his easy-to-use installer for the Multiple Classic Computer 216 (MCC-216).  With his installer, it is relatively easy to add cores, menu files, and games into the MCC-216, all correctly placed within its directory structure. Screenshots of this installer to come later.

Also we looked at the operation of the Jason-Ranheim Capture II cart, one of the first program freezers for the Commodore 64.

Our next meeting is tentatively set for the March 9 weekend.
